SCBC Bulletin #3

With one third of our season in the books there are a few points that need to be touched on:

  1. 1.   Make-up Games

Make-up games must be made up no later than thirty (30) from the original game date!  Remember, games must be played on the scheduled nights unless the courts are closed due to weather conditions or for a team that started within the first three weeks!  Make-up games are not meant to be rescheduled because a team doesn’t have enough players, etc.

  1. 2.    Shed Policies

Maintain shed security at all times.  Please secure all equipment in the designated areas within the shed. Please double check all locks upon leaving to make sure the shed and equipment are secure.  Equipment is for the use of SCBC players only.  All other usage needs to be cleared by the SCBC Board of Directors.

  1. 3.   Court Prep for Game Days

Day of Play grooming teams have been established for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.  We are in need of grooming teams for Tuesday and Thursday.  Please contact Corbin Goin thru the website if you are interested or for more details.  Tuesday & Thursday nights will continue with the Court 1 and Court 4 rule until grooming teams are in place.(If a team is not scheduled on Courts 1 & 4, it would be the next court that groom the three).

  1. 4.    Parking at Luther Burbank School

The SCBC has made arrangements with Santa Rosa City Schools to use the Luther Burbank Elementary School parking lot between the hours of 4:00 to 7:30 Monday thru Friday for the rest of the 2015 season.

  1. 5.     Notice from Santa Rosa Park & Rec Department

Santa Rosa Park & Rec has requested that we do not leave any glass bottles in the trash containers!  It has also been requested that we leave no leftover foods on or around the bocce courts.

The SCBC Board hopes that you are enjoying the season and remember to feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.  We are looking for rain monitors for each night of play, in the event we EVER get any more rain! Please contact me thru the web if you are interested.
